- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards

- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during service

Pastry cook or baker possess creativity, the ability to follow written or verbal directions, attentiveness to detail, and basic mathematics and measurement skills.
- Follow recipes to produce baked goods such as cookies, bread, cakes, rolls, pies and pastries
- Provide quality and timely prepared foods
- Follow sanitation guidelines and adhere to safety procedures
- Work as part of a team, stock and rotate food, handle equipment and supplies
- Maintain food quality and communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
- Produce large quantities of standardized baked goods during special events
Formal pastry training and minimum 1 year experience preferred • Food Safety Training Certificate required • Flexible hours (Monday to Sunday) • Staff meals provided.
